Pumpkin Carving Templates

Choose your pumpkin carefully, one with a stalk is best.
With a felt-tip pen, draw a line around the pumpkin about 5cm from the top.
Carefully cut along this line with a sharp knife.
Use a spoon to scoop out the flesh and seeds from the inside of the pumpkin.
Scrape away the wall of the pumpkin until it is about 3cm thick.
Use a felt-tip pen to draw eyes a nose and a mouth on the pumpkin. Don't make them too close together.
Use a small knife to cut around the eyes. Push the cut pieces inside the pumpkin, then take them out the top.
Cut around the nose and push it in. Then around the mouth in sections. Don't try to do it all in one piece
Put a small candle inside the pumpkin, then place the lid on top.
